All is well in the Hive and I would say
"Mission Accomplished"
I rarely write a post by myself (because of time constraints), but today I am making an exception. First of all we have a great community even though we are small; we share great insights about trading from many different perspectives. My research assistants Shaza and WaveRider have the time to sift through all the noise, financial information and then I publish it. However, without the comments section I don’t think it would be the same. Gotawatch, Mugabe along with Shaza offer us great technical analysis.
Edgar god bless him, brings his sarcastic whit that gives me the opinion he would have been a great comedy writer or stand up like George Carlin. Going Loco is also one of my favorite reads along with P.K. who offers great trading sites along with informed opinion. Bukko in AU and Drama Queen (who is always dramatic) and Tommy JR has been absent a while so he is probably on holiday. Bhagwan dear I’ve missed you as of late and VA-Bear whom I know is traveling. OMG I almost left out Taxhaven.
What we have built together “may it never be torn asunder.” Hopefully when TSHTF we will all be in an investment vehicle that weathers the storm, but the day is coming. As Karl Denninger writes “The math doesn’t lie.” I think if we see a repeat of October 2008 IMHO be “The Greatest Unwind in History.” I only hope that financial chaos doesn’t equate to violence in the street and societal breakdown.
I will confess that I voted for Obama and no one can be more disappointed than I am. I fear his legacy may be worse than George Bush, if that is possible. I don’t want to get into politics too much on this site as there are plenty of other blogs that cover that. I want to conclude that I am grateful for what I have and what Insidethehive has become. A place for civil discussion and trading opinions without too much politics and a little humor added in for good measure. From the bottom of my heart this is the Queen saying thank you.

You are welcome Queenie!
BTW, inflation is under control. BB is going to add magic toxic pectic to granny's MMs so they "gel", and will soon be more illiquid than the radioactive concrete sar-cough-us-gus at cher-cher-noible. Ack! Gas attack! Damn aliens.
Edgar, I posted on your blog about all those damn pedestrians. How dare they get in the way of cars. ;-)
I must admit that I may be in the minority on financial blogs as I'm reluctant to invest any more money for the SOB's to lose for me and I don't have the know how to gamble (or the right mindset).
That said, I am 'gambling' on tangibles right now. A new roof; thinning trees; and now possibly an insert for my woodburning fireplace. There is a 30% tax credit for buying an 'efficient' model.
I am also investing in 'spirit.' I don't want to go off topic, but your mention of unwinds and chaos serves to remind us that if times continue to get tougher we are going to have to incorporate 'spirit' to one another. Perhaps it is my nostalgia as I just watched an old Disney DVD (one of my childhood favorites) THE SCARECROW OF ROMNEY MARSH.
It, too, served to remind me that there have been tough times throughout the centuries. What helps us overcome them is the way we treat others.
Just a thought on a Friday night....
That fed reverse repo with the MMs trial balloon reminded me the arrogance of bankers, especially central bankers. In their mind all the money is their money to do with as they wish. They decide how much is out there, what level the stock market is at, who gets it first, who gets drained first, who gets bailed, and who doesn't, who lives, who dies, who gets taken over and who does the taking. PMs and cash buried in the ground is an appropriate response to that level of criminal control, as is a new fireplace insert.
Thank you Anon and Edgar. You are both right in your observations IMHO. I am starving the beast in any way I can and PM's are my favorites and i am not talking about paper that represents PM's. Life is a gamble and we are all making choices.
The banksters are trying to control all aspects of the game. They will fail in the end as they always do. We will find the "spirit" to survive. We will stop relying on the government and start relying on each other and develop communities out of necessity. At least I hope we do before they kill us and steal all our money.
Tonight on Skype I learned much from a man name who will be anon for now. He taught me about calls and puts and now I have another weapon in my arsenal. Thank you so much.

I am still visiting on a daily basis. However I will only post something if I think it is of equal caliber to what
everyone else usually contributes.
With regard to Obama here is an excellent analysis, by the otherwise usually dead boring, Garry Wills on why he has blown it and as to why it is unlikely the ordinary working man will never get any representation in the Whitehouse

Mat Taibi on Grayson:
Congressman who went werewolf on me now spooks Fed officials

bhagwhan thank you for posting. Drama Queen I watched that video last night with Yvonne. We love Alan Grayson and both voted for him. He is a shark, but when he was running for office you could never have told he was going to be so fierce with the Fed. Best vote I ever cast in the 8th District of Fl.
Taxhaven I didn't get much of a chance to chat with you last night. I still like you call on Chesepeake Util as a short trade and I am leaving in my order. It was one of the few stocks that went up Friday other than STEC.
Congratulations on the Blog, Queenbee!
Everyone responds to a crisis differently. Some panic, some just shut-down...the real survivors just roll up their sleeves and get back to work.
Which is something close to my vision: the macro-economy is in very bad shape, but knowing that news does not help you much. We all know it is, the challenge is what to do about it.
Just trying to slowly pick my way through these times. In 10 years things should be much better, to get to there from here is the journey of our times, the life choices we have to deal with.
So anything we can do is helpful, to your self and for others. By co-operation on trading styles, theories, analysis and techniques, we can be more than the sum of lone individuals.
Was on holiday for a month and just sold my first (and maybe last for a while) home. Reckon I got out close to the top in bubblelicious Australia - got 15% more than the ask price too.
Anyway Queen congrats and expect to see me back on the boards soon enough.
